Disassembling a System Unit

Power Off and Unplug:

Assembling a System Unit

Install the Power Supply (PSU):

1. Position the PSU in its mounting location and secure it with screws. Connect the
necessary power cables to the motherboard and other components.

Install the Motherboard:

1. Place the motherboard into the case, aligning it with the standoffs. Secure it with
screws.

Install the CPU:

1. Place the CPU into its socket on the motherboard, aligning it properly. Lower the
lever or mechanism to secure it.

Apply Thermal Paste and Attach Cooler:

1. Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the CPU if needed, then attach the CPU
cooler and connect its fan to the motherboard.

Install RAM Modules:

the clips snap into place.
