Dear Diary,

Today has been a really emotional day. I woke up to the news

that Mount Marapi in West Sumatra erupted. It’s heartbreaking
to see the images of the destruction and hear about people
losing their homes. Thankfully, my family is safe, but many
others are not as fortunate.
At school, everyone was talking about it. Sari and I decided
that we have to do something to help. We talked about

with a charity concert or a bake sale. I feel hopeful that we can
make a difference, even if it's just a small one.

It’s moments like these that remind me how important it is to

come together and support each other. I hope we can help
bring some relief to those affected by this disaster.

Goodnight, Diary.
