Oct/Nov 2024 IGCSE – Examination Timetable

Please note – morning examinations begin promptly at 8:30am, afternoon examinations at 1:00pm and evening
examinations at 4:30pm, unless otherwise specified. Please be outside the examination Hall/room at least fifteen
minutes before the examination is due to begin.

Where there is a clash – students for all examinations must be outside the examination hall for an 8:30, 1:00 or
4:30pm start. Students with Examinations Clashes will take the first examination on the list first, then the
second examination will follow and then the third.

Please note that appropriate supervised breaks will be given in between each paper for students with
examinations clashes in the same session(AM/PM/EV).

For students taking OxfordAQA Mathematics and/or Pearson Edexcel History, a different start time of the
examinations are stated in accordance with the Examination Boards requirements. Please take note of the
different start times and please be outside the examination hall/room at least 15 minutes before the start time of
the examinations.

Please be reminded of the following
1) You must attend exams in normal school uniform.
2) Know your candidate number, check the seating plan. Do not communicate with or smile at each other when
in the examination room.
3) Do not take in phones, correction tape/fluid etc. - take ONLY what you need, and in a completely
transparent container/bag.
4) Drinks must be in re-sealable containers and they have to be completely transparent. (Don't drink too much - see
7) below).
5) Follow instructions of the invigilator(s) at all times.
6) There is no such thing as rough paper. Everything you write on will be sent to the board.
7) Go to the toilet before the exam - you will not be allowed to go to the toilet in the first hour or final 30
minutes of any exam.
8) The venues of the examinations will be released in the student portal 2 weeks before the examinations
session starts.
