Course Overview
Duration: Approx. 30 Hours (01~02 Hours/Day Basis) Fee: 600 USD
Module 01: Designing & Sizing Of Distillation Column
Participants will learn the fundamental concepts of distillation column design and
sizing, including design criteria, standards, and sizing methodology. The module
covers calculation procedures and software-based modeling using tools like Aspen
Hysys and KG Tower.
Module 02: Designing & Sizing Of Flare System
This module focuses on the design and sizing of flare systems, covering concepts,
criteria, and standards. Participants will learn about sizing methodology and gain
practical experience in software-based modeling using Flare Analyzer.
Module 03: Designing & Sizing Of Heat Exchanger
Participants will gain expertise in designing and sizing heat exchangers, exploring
concepts, criteria, and standards. The module includes calculation procedure and
software-based modeling using tools like Aspen Hysys, Aspen EDR, and HTRI.
Module 04: Designing & Sizing Of Process Piping
This module covers the design and sizing of process piping, including concepts,
criteria, and standards. Participants will learn about software-based line sizing and
hydraulics using tools like Aspen Hydraulics and Korf Hydraulics.
Module 05: Compressors
Participants will learn about compressor fundamentals, classifications, and
selection criteria. The module includes calculation procedure, performance
evaluation and dynamic surge analysis using Aspen Hysys for practical application.

This module explores the fundamentals of cooling towers, including classifications,
