Poultry farming for meat & Layer farming for is getting very popular business in Pakistan. To
keep up with a good & profitable production of meat & eggs, disease control parameters
should be followed. Following is the vaccination schedule in general but it should be adjusted
according to the local area and prevalence of disease.

Monitoring of vaccinated flocks
Before vaccinations check the antibody titer of birds as maternal antibodies interfere
with vaccines.
Schedule vaccines according to maternal antibody titers against each disease.
Check the signs for reaction of vaccine after vaccination.
Check for outbreak of vaccine.
Elevated temperature is normal as vaccinal virus or bacteria will grow and there will
be rise in temperature.
Check for antibody titer after designated time. For example for killed vaccine go for
HI or ELISA after 21 days to check the level of antibodies.
If titer is not upto the mark revaccinate the birds.
