SUBJECT lnvitation to join the lnfection and Prevention Control Week 2024 -Animated and Cultural lnfomercial Video Contest
ln reference to the Department of Health (DOH) Department Memorandum No. 2024-0195 dated May 13,2024 on the "Guidance in the Celebration of National lnfection Prevention and Control (lPC) Week 2024 on July 8-14, 2024" and pursuant to Proclamation No. 971, signed on June 23,2020, the second week of July each year as "National IPC Week", the Department of Health Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao (DOH CHDNM) would like to invite all DOH Retained Hospital, government and private hospitals and infirmaries to join the Animated and Cultural lnfomercial Video Contest starting July 12,2024 unlil July 29, 2024 which is relevant to the theme, "Together We Stand Against HAI: Protecting Everyone!". Certificates of participation and plaques of recognition will be given to the participating and winning health facilities.

The contest aims to increase awareness and promote the impact of infection prevention and control. The contest further aims to create interest and enhance creativity among health care facilities in preventing and controlling infection, which is in line with the theme: "Together We Stand Against HAI: Protecting Everyone!"

Contest Rules: o The contest shall start from 12 Julv 2Q24 and is open to all DOH Retained Hospitals, government and private hospitals and infirmaries in Northern Mindanao. o Each hospitalwill submit only one (1) entry, which should focus on the theme: "Together We $tand Against HAI: Protecting Everyonet" in three (3) Languages-English, Filipino and the tribal language in your respective city or municipality. o The infomercial video should run for a maximum of thirty (30) seconds only in ANIMATED FORM. o Entries should be original. ln accordance to the copyright laws, music used in an entry must be original, licensed or in the public domain (ask permission from the composer). o Mdeo resolution should be at least 720p (1280x720), 25fps frame rate, in digitalformat (MP4 or MOV). o Entries should not contain any offensive or inappropriate language, image and/or content. The video should be clear and appropriate for general viewership. Display of brands of foods/beverages/formula milU cigarettes, tobacco/ alcoholic beverages to be used in the video is discouraged. e Deadline of submission of entries is on July 29,2024 at 5:00 PM through this Iink- httos://bit.lv/lPc- Week-2024. Entries shall be uploaded to DOH CHD NM's Facebook Page, Department of Health Center for Health Development-Northern lliindanao on 30 Julv 2024 for public viewing and voting. Overall social media engagement shall be based on the total number of Facebook likes/reactions, views and shares. Shares should be posted public using the hashtag #lPCUnity. Public voting will close on August 8,2024 at 5:00 PM.
Criteria for judging:
o Message Clarity and Relevance to the theme: 40 points . Creativity and originality: 30 points o Production and Quality: 20 points o Social Media Engagement 10 points TOTAL 100 points
