SUBJECT : SPOT REPORT re Arrest of Pedro Valencia y Labrou, a.k.a Peds for the crime of Shooting DATE : May 5, 2024 __________________________________________________________________________
1. Reference: Case referral of Desk Officer, Sub-Station 6 with same subject as above dated May 4, 2024 and referred to this office at about 11:00 PM of the same date. 2. This pertains to the Shooting Incident that transpired at about 8:00 PM of May 4,2024 at infront of Petron Gas Station located along Bayan-Bayanan Ave. Brgy.Concepcion Uno, Marikina City wherein in witness/complainant identified as Piolo Perez y Velarde, 24 years old, born on January 12, 2000, single, crew, native and residing at Blk. 20, Lot 3, Phase 1, Champaca St. Brgy. Marikina Heights Marikina City while suspect identified as Pedro Valencia y Labrou a.k.a Peds, 23 years old, born on February 10, 2001, single, jobless, native and residing at Blk. 54 Santan St. Brgy. Fortune, Marikina City. 3. Initial investigation disclosed that on the said TDPO, while the victim was standing in front of Petron Gas, the suspect approached him with a gun and shoot him several times in foot and shoulder, when the victim fell to the ground and ran towards the wall of Petron Gas Station, the Suspect got a chance to escape, but there was a police patrolling and a concerned citizen that witnessed the shooting incident immediately reported what he witnessed and said that the suspect was wearing black shirt with marking “Pogi Ako” and manong pants. After the incident the suspect was said to be running towards the field to the direction of Marikina Heights while victim fell on the pavement part. The police quickly made an action to find the suspect. During the arrest, chance upon arresting officer PCpl Gomez, Mark A. assigned at Marikina City Police Station, Sub-Station 6, Brgy, Concepcion Uno, Marikina City and PO1 Javier, Carl H. assigned at Marikina City Police Station, Sub-Station 6, Brgy, Concepcion Uno, Marikina City. In that instance, arresting officers immediately arrest the suspect and inform his Constitutional rights in the language known and understood by him. Subsequently the victim brought to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC) and the suspect also brought to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC) for physical and medical medication. Thereafter brought at Sub-Station 3 for initial investigation 4. As of this writing, suspect is temporarily detained at Marikina City Police Station, Custodial Facility while pertinent documents are being prepared for inquest proceeding before the Marikina City Prosecutor’s Office, Investigators on-case; PSSg Adrian K Gil, PSSg Hermes D Corpus (0948-881-3307) this station. 5.
