The Sassy
Blurb : Long long time ago, in Kampar, Riau, there lived a widow and her kid named Si
Lancang. They lived in misery and worked as farmer.
To improve their quality life, Si Lancang wanted to sail along. After years of sauling
along, he successfully became a rich merchant who had tens of ships also seven wives.
One day, Si Lancang wanted to sail to Amdales on that voyage he brought seven
wives. The news of Si Lancang’s arrival was heard by his mother in Kampar with a feeling of
emotion he immediately went to welcome the arrival of his only child. But after she stated that
she was Si Lancang’s mother, the servents who guarded their ship couldn’t belive it.
Si Lancang’s mother was so sad and broke heart arriving home, she took her heirloom
it was a mortar for pounding rice, she prayed to the god to give punishment to Si Lancang.
The lighting hit the imppudent ship so that all the treasure was destroyed.
All his silk clothes flight and swung so it became “Negeri Lipat Kain” was located in
left Kampar. The gong was thrown away to right Kampar and became agong river. The glazed
porcelains swung and became pasubilah, and then the flag pole of ship was thrown away and
fallen to a lake, it was called Si Lancang’s lake.
