LIBRARY AND INFORMATION CENTRE
The Central Library was established in the year 2008. The Library of our college stands as an epitome of intellectual
elegance and source of technical education, in particular to Engineering and Technology. The Library is well equipped
with unique features and infrastructure to support and encourage scholarly communication and professional development.
The Central Library spans over an area of 205 Sq.m.It have a seating capacity of 60 persons. The Library houses a
collection of 28147 books and 5788 titles. The library has 433 back volumes. It subscribes to more than 66 print journals,
more than 166 E- journals and 5675 E- Books and 223 competitive books.
With the state-of-the-art technology, the users can access the print and digital resources online throughout the campus.
Open Access System are being followed to access the books and journals. Central library plays an integral role in
supporting the academic programmes of the Institution. The transactions of the library are fully automated with KOHA
software.
Library also holds E- Books, Project reports, previous year question paper, Newspaper clippings; these can be accessed
through Dspace software via library web portal with the bandwidth of 92mbps.
The Central library has been the member of DELNET, J-GATE, NDL, AICTE’s NPTEL, Coursera, which provides free
access to E-Books and E- Journals and gain the advantage of learning new courses related to their opted academic
courses. Apart from which there an ERP facilities provided in the Library through which the students can have access to
Question bank, lecture notes.
Above all for the beneficial of student, library has introduced Veranda Club which facilitates the students to prepare for
the various competitive exams and have access to a wide range of job opportunities especially in Government sector.
