Introduction:

Dipak Bhavsar a founder of “Silicon Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd” had completed

Masters Degree with specialization in “Structure” in 1999 and entered into the field of

Structural Engineering. In carrier path of eight years he had dealt with major Industrial,

Commercial, Institutional & Residential building projects. Along with that he has dealt with

major projects of Water supply scheme, Effluent treatment plants and Retrofitting of

damaged buildings.

He is also dealing with International design and drafting projects of Residential, Commercial

Damage Assessment and Retrofitting work:

• After Earthquake Retrofitting of Parth Tower was done under Guideline of Dr. A.S
Arya ( Member of the earthquake Engineering committee )
• Worked as an Asst Project Coordinator for the Assignment of Survey, Damage
Assessment and Suggesting Repair Techniques for nearly 1500 School Buildings of
Banaskantha and Gandhinagar Dist. Associated with Design Team for preparation of
Strengthening Techniques. Work was assigned by DPEP.
• Associated for the work of Survey, Damage Assessment and Suggesting Repair
Techniques for various health centers of Banaskantha and Patan District.
STRUCTWEL Engineers has assigned work
• Retrofitting of Steel platforms of Chemical plants of Jubilant Organosys at Gajraula.
o Old steel platforms were heavily corroded due to chemical effect. They were
inspected thoroughly and checked for the deterioration in structural steel
members. Design has been re-checked for reduced sections and required
retrofitting suggested for failing members and joints.
• Retrofitting of Salt go-down of Grasim Industries Ltd, Birlagram Nagda.
o Reinforcement of R.C.C columns and Steel trusses were found heavily corroded.
Structure was accessed for reduction in reinforcement and structural steel
 sections. Retrofitting techniques were suggested for corroded structural
members.
• Damage assessment and suggesting retrofitting details for Industrial sheds of Ginni
Filament at U.P.
o Trusses of said building were damaged due to cyclone and age effect. Trusses
were visually inspected and strengthening techniques were suggested for
deformed / damaged members.

Currently we are operating our office from “315-Patel Avenue, S.G Highway, Ahmedabad” and
total area of developed premises is around 2000 sq.ft. We are dealing with local as well as
outsourcing projects and already having well established infrastructure to accommodate
staff of forty personals.
