Branch Administration
Overview
Branch Resilience (BR) is a backup system for branches to be used when communications (comms)
to the head office system are interrupted due to unforeseen events such as adverse weather
conditions (hurricanes, tornados or flooding) or other disaster scenarios.
It should be noted that without permanent communication links it is not possible to run a full branch
service (as if the link between the branch & head office was in place). The BR module will be used by
the branch to provide the best service to its clients that is possible whilst communications are broken
and to assist in re-establishing the data at the head office that is needed for branch operations to
continue.
The Branch Administration Console is a key component in the Branch Resilience mechanism.

Administration Console
The Branch Administration Console should be used by Branch Managers to perform the following
tasks:
• Monitor Branch Connectivity (comms)
• On-line/Off-line switching
• Branch Administration (online & offline) e.g. Data Upload, Date Rollover etc.
• SFQ Posting
