1. Play a dictionary race, give pupils words to race to find in the dictionary. Choose words
from the texts in Pupil’s Book, pp.48-49 but not those in the box on page 48.

3. Tell the pupils the text title (Unusual Jobs) and show the pictures from the Pupil’s Book 21/21 pupils able to achieve learning

16. Regroup pupils into groups of four to six so that there is at least one pupil with each

how they worked out the meaning of the word(s).
17. Pupils work either in their new group or in their previous pair. Pupils read all four texts
