⮚ Portfolio Assignments are designed to give

learners an opportunity to apply the concepts
learnt in real life scenarios. There are a lot of
benefits of project-based portfolios, which
includes the promotion of autonomy,
responsibility, project quality, organizational
skills, and a sense of pride, among other things.
GUIDELINES
⮚ Who? The project is for the child to hone their skills. Children can take the help of parents /
guardians/ friends & teachers as needed. We love to see the work of your child.
⮚ Where? Learners need to complete this project in the spiral portfolio book issued as part of the
books.
⮚ What? For each subject an assignment is given. Hence carefully read the instructions and follow
them to ensure you are working the right way.
⮚ When? Planning is key. On an average you need 1 to 2 hours to complete each assignment. Sit
and discuss your portfolio plan with your parents. Look at the plans drawn for your family vacation
time. Fix the dates on your calendar.
⮚ Why? Portfolio is not just a homework, it is an opportunity to implement your learning. Check out
the Objectives page to know more.
⮚ How? Your work represents you. Hence remember to submit neat and tidy work. Present your
ideas clearly. A creative work always gain appreciation. Add pictures, statistics, highlighters and
other materials to convey your ideas or talk about key issues / points or get your teacher’s
