The testimony of the witness Jessalyn Renolayan is being offered to prove:

III. JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT PROPER.
I, JESSALYN RENOLAYAN, 27 years old, married, Filipino, and residing
at Purok 5, Barangay Dita, Legazpi City under oath, depose:
1. Q – Please state your name, age, residence, and occupation of the
witness.
A –I am JESSALYN RENOLAYAN ,27 years old, married, residing
Purok 5, Barangay Dita, Legazpi City, Businesswoman.
2. Q- Why are you here now?
A – To give a sworn statement by way of a judicial affidavit, the same
to constitute as my direct testimony, in the above-captioned civil case.
3. Q-For the record, please state the
name and address of the Lawyer who is now conducting or
supervising your examination and the place where the examination
is being held now?
A – The legal counsel for the defense, Atty. Aya Marquez- Cortez
conducting or supervising my examination now at his law office at
MARQUEZ-CORTEZ LAW FIRM Yap Bldg., Rawis, Legazpi City.
Q – In what language do you want your examination to be conducted?
A – This judicial affidavit is prepared in English. I prefer that the cross
would be conducted in English as well.
5. Q – Do you undertake to answer the questions to be asked of you, fully
conscious that you will do so under oath, and that you may face criminal
liability for false testimony?
A – Yes.
6. Q – Do you know the plaintiff Kirsten Sazon?
A – Yes. She is a friend and an old colleague of my bestfriend, Gabrielle
CJ Lagrimas, the defendant.
7. Q – Why are you testifying in this case?
A – I was with the defendant, Gabrille CJ Lagrimas when he go to the
residence of the plaintiff, Kirsten Sazon.
8. Q – When was this?
A – That was in the afternoon, April 15, 2024.
9. Q – What happened during the house visit?
A – Miss Sazon was not in her house. Her brother, Kiertsan Sazon is
the one who accommodated us. He told us that Kirsten Sazon is not
home, that she was in Hongkong with her fiancé.
10. Q – How Mr. Lagrimas responded?
A – He told Mr. Sazon about his reason for coming and he said that he
will just come back if Miss Sazon already arrived from her trip.
11. Q – How did Mr. Sazon responded?
A – He told us that he will be the one who will receive the money since
he is the brother of Miss Sazon. He also told us that Miss Sazon told
him that if Mr. Lagrimas visited their place to pay the loan Mr. Sazon
shall receive it under his name.
12. Q – How did Mr. Lagrimas responded?
A – He merely nodded. Then he wrote paid-in-full letter. I saw Mr.
Sazon affixes his signature.
13. Q – What happened after?
A– Mr. Lagrimas gave Mr. Sazon a copy of the paid-in-full letter. We
left after.

IV. SWORN ATTESTATION OF THE LAWYER WHO
CONDUCTED OR SUPERVISED THE EXAMINATION OF THE
WITNESS.
The undersigned ATTY. AYA MARQUEZ-CORTEZ of legal age, married,
and with law office address are MARQUEZ-CORTEZ LAW FIRM Yap
Bldg., Rawis, Legazpi City., under oath, deposes and states:
1. He is the Legal Counsel for the defendant in the above-entitled case;
2. He faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the
questions he asked and the corresponding answers that the above-named
witness gave;
3. Neither he nor any other person then present or assisting him coached
the witness regarding the latter's answers; and
4. He conducted the examination of the witness at his law office located at
