Characters in abdomen:
1. Rubeus Hagrid (Stomach) - Hagrid's love for magical creatures was well-known, but his
fondness for unusual and often dangerous pets landed him in trouble more than once. Just as
the stomach must carefully process what it takes in, Hagrid learned the hard way about being
selective with his cravings for exotic beasts.
The diaphragm can be represented by Rubeus Hagrid's loyal pet dog, Fang.
2. Severus Snape (Liver) - Snape's double life as a spy put him in constant danger of being
exposed and poisoned by the treacherous forces around him. Like the liver, which detoxifies the
body, Snape had to constantly neutralise threats while appearing to serve Voldemort.
3. Luna Lovegood (Pancreas) - With her unique perspectives and insights, Luna often saw
things that others missed, just as the pancreas performs critical but easily overlooked roles in
digestion and blood sugar regulation.
4. Draco Malfoy (Gallbladder) - Draco's arrogance and prejudice caused him to make choices
that led to trouble, not just for himself but for those around him, much like how gallbladder
issues can have widespread impacts.
5. Fred and George Weasley (Kidneys) - The twin brothers formed an inseparable pair,
complementing each other's mischief. Like the kidneys, they filtered out trouble while injecting
fun into their surroundings.
6. Remus Lupin (Intestines) - Lupin's struggles with his werewolf condition reflected the long,
winding path of the intestines, with many twists and turns along the way.
7. Nearly Headless Nick (Appendix) - Nick's beheading went awry, leaving him in a nearly-
decapitated state. Like the appendix, his condition was mostly an inconvenience unless it
caused real problems.
8. Moaning Myrtle (Urinary Bladder) - Myrtle's constant haunting and amplified wails were akin
to the bladder's demanding signals when it needs to be emptied.
9. Molly Weasley (Uterus) - Fierce and protective, Molly's dedication to nurturing her family
mirrored the uterus's role as the womb that shelters and nourishes new life.
10. Bellatrix and Narcissa (Ovaries) - These two sisters, though divergent in their paths,
shared an inextricable bond as the source of female fertility and continuation of their family line.
11. Prostate (in males): Lucius Malfoy
Reason: The prostate, like Lucius Malfoy’s bravery, is small. But it is rich like him, because of
which it nourishes sperms. Is smart, hence closes the urethra during ejaculation and produces
DHT.
12. Argus Filch (Rectum) - Filch's thankless task of cleaning up messes at Hogwarts reflected
the rectum's role in expelling waste from the body.
13. Peeves the Poltergeist (Anus) - Peeves's mischievous antics brought humour but also
chaos, not unlike the anus's important but often amusing bodily function.
14. Hogwarts Castle (peritoneum) - The ancient castle provided a strong, protective foundation
for the school, just as the peritoneum blankets the abdominal organs.
In each story, the character's traits, struggles, or roles metaphorically link to the organ they
represent, creating vivid associations between the two.
Fang and his job:
1. Aorta (Sirius Black): Just as Sirius Black was Harry's loyal godfather, the aorta is the body's
main artery that passes through the diaphragm to supply oxygenated blood to the abdominal
organs. Fang would keep a close watch on Sirius, ensuring he could move freely between the
cavities.
2. Oesophagus (Remus Lupin): Like Lupin's long and winding journey, the esophagus is a long
tube that passes through the diaphragm, allowing food and liquids to travel from the mouth to
the stomach. Fang would guide Lupin safely through the diaphragm's passage.
3. Inferior Vena Cava (Arthur Weasley): This large vein, like Arthur's steady presence, carries
deoxygenated blood from the abdomen through the diaphragm and back to the heart. Fang
would ensure Arthur's safe transit through the diaphragmatic gateway.
4.Azygos Vein (Cedric Diggory): This vein's unique path, like Cedric's noble character,
traverses the diaphragm to drain blood from the thoracic cavity. Fang would respect Cedric's
journey through the diaphragmatic passage.
5.Thoracic Duct (Molly Weasley): Just as Molly nourished her family, the thoracic duct carries
nutrient-rich lymph through the diaphragm, providing sustenance to the bloodstream. Fang
would warmly welcome Molly's passage, recognizing her nurturing role.
6.Splanchnic Nerves (Dobby the House-Elf): These nerves, like the loyal and free-spirited
Dobby, pass through the diaphragm to relay messages between the abdomen and thorax. Fang
would facilitate Dobby's unhindered journey through the diaphragmatic gateway.
7. Vagus Nerves (Neville Longbottom): Initially underestimated, these nerves, like Neville, play
a crucial role in regulating various bodily functions as they pass through the diaphragm. Fang
would protect Neville's passage, recognizing his hidden strength.
