 Brief‫موجز‬
The Asian Games Organizing committee wishes to have the project of assessing, renovating, furniture the students
housing in Imam Mohammed bin Saudi Islamic university in Riyadh, to be the Athletes Village for the Sporting
events that will take place in Riyash within the coming years.
Scope of Work Description‫وصف نطاق االعمال‬
Athletes Village
The Asian Games Organizing committee wishes to have the project of assessing, renovating, furniture the students
housing in Imam Mohammed bin Saudi Islamic university in Riyadh, to be the Athletes Village for the Sporting
events that will take place in Riyash within the coming years.
Scope of Work:
1- Assess, Renovate and furniture the existing buildings, (Total numbers of buildings will be decided upon site
visits), the assessment shall include the following main items:
A. Master plan of the entire site, where the master plan should show the following zones:
• Residential Zone for the athletes and team officials.
• Cultural Exchange Zone: This zone shall contain services, shops, and cultural facilities for all residents of
the Village.
• Operational and Support Services Zone: These should consist of the transportation hub for the busses,
and a separate building near to the parking that can be the main location of the Organizing committee.
(This should be with in reaching distance to all the other zones)
B. Assessment of all existing MEP systems and plan of repairing/replacing where necessary.
C. Assessment of current civil condition of the buildings, along with a plan of developing where needed.
D. Assessment of the general condition of the building and the renovation plan.
E. Assessment of current layout and how that can be changed from student housing environment to Athletes
village environment (entrances, lounges, shared areas within the residentials areas, Gym rooms within
each building … etc.), Please note that project owner will support with all required data and information to
support with the assessment.
All of the above items should be described technically, expected duration for delivery (high level timeline) and
budget estimates. Therefor, full report of the project will be the main deliverable of this tender.
Requirements of Athletes Village, should be taken into consideration during assessment:
A. Separated entrances and exits from main roads to the Athletes Village, where busses, services, VIP invitees
can use to access without interacting with the university premises, along with security rooms at entrances
and exits.
B. Following locations/services need to be taken into consideration, within existing building or to allocate a
space in the landscaping for them:
• Catering Hall.
• Media Centre
• Accreditation center
• Welcome center.
• Medical center within the village.
• Prayer rooms/areas (Male/Female) within the different zones.
• Car parking for LOC staff, along with Busses hub.
• The village should be restricted to essential vehicular movements only.
• Open spaces within the landscapes that can be used for the side events within the main event.
• Rooms are with no more than 2 beds in each room. There will be single bedrooms and the number will
be decided later.
• All areas and buildings should be Para-supported. All areas and buildings should be internet supported
along with CCTVs camera linked the main operation center.

2- A master plan with all the required details with reference of the assessments showing all areas of
required renovations, decorations and furniture’s.
3- A full detailed quotation of the required renovations with details and timelines.
4- A price list of all required furniture in all areas with minimum of 3 options as per the submitted master
plan and assessment report.

proposal. .‫د) العرض املالي‬
d) Commercial proposal, and .)‫هـ) العرض الفني (املواصفات‬
e) Technical proposal (specifications) .‫األسعار‬/‫و) أي مرفقات مساندة للعرض‬
f) Any attachments supporting the proposal/Quotation ‫ بيد أن كل‬.‫ويمكن أن تتألف املواصفات من وثائق ورسومات تتحدد‬

3.6 Cost of Proposal Preparation ‫ تكلفة إعداد العروض‬3.6

d)If the Bidder does not accept the correction of errors made
by SOPC, its Proposal shall be rejected.
