➢ Step0-3.
• Go to the “Build-in UEFI shell” and change to USB disk file system FSx:( depend to
USB disk location).
• Go to the package folder

➢ Step2. Execute 2_BMC.nsh, to update the BMC firmware. Be careful not to
shut down manually during the execution

After completing the update, proceed to the
next step directly, there is no need to turn
off the AC power.

➢ Step3. Execute 3_FRU.nsh, to update the FRU information.

➢ Step4. Type 4_SN.nsh, press "Spacebar", then input the serial number (SN)

➢ Step5. Execute 5_BIOS.nsh, to update the BIOS. Be careful not to shut down
manually during the execution

After completing the update, press the
power button to shut down and unplug the
power cord to perform an AC off. Wait for the
power LED to turn off for 10 seconds, then
reconnect the power cord and power on.

➢ Step6. Load default
• Reboot the system. Press “Del” key to enter BIOS setup. Go to the “Save & Exit” page.
Select “Restore Defaults” and “Save Changes and Reset” to reboot the system.

➢ Inspect Step1. Check the BIOS logo and BMC Web UI logo for modification to
the Altos logo.

➢ Inspect Step2. Enter the BIOS Setup and check the following information:
Product Name
BIOS Version
BIOS Build date
BMC FW Version
System Manufacturer
System Product Name
Serial Number
Board Manufacturer
Board Product Name

➢ Inspect Step3. Enter the BMC Web UI's dashboard page to check the
following information, including product name, serial number, BIOS and BMC
firmware versions, and build date.

➢ Inspect Step4. Access the FRU information page in the BMC Web UI to verify
if the information matches the FRU information in the BIOS Setup.

➢ Inspect Step5.
• Go to the IPMI Event Log page. Save event log before clear event log. Press the
“Clear Event Logs” button to clear the event log.
• Restart the system after clear and go to the IPMI Event Log page, and check
there are no red critical events, and no orange warning events.
