steps required to bleed down the cylinder through the burst disc
port.

Procedure No. 1 – BLEED DOWN THROUGH FILL PORT

! CAUTION

During this procedure, make certain caution is taken to protect

eyes, face, and hands from the INERGEN® discharge that will
be bleeding out from the fill port area. Failure to do so may
cause damage or frostbite to eyes, face or hands due to the
high pressure INERGEN discharge.

CAUTION
During the complete bleed down process, the cylinders must

remain in the cylinder clamp and remain attached to flex hose

fall over, possibly causing personal injury or property damage.

completely bled down.
5. When INERGEN cylinder is completely bled down, turn hand
wheel on bleed down adaptor approximately 6-7 turns coun-
terclockwise. At the end of bleeding process, check cylinder
gauge to confirm cylinder is empty.
6. Remove bleed down adapter.
7. Prepare empty Inergen cylinder for shipping to fillers location.

! CAUTION
1. Check to make certain the cylinder is secured properly and
not connected to any actuator.

If cylinder is not at full pressure, contact Ansul Quality

2. Check to make certain cylinder gauge indicates full pressure.
