4. Click the Yes button to set the high side of your tool and move on to “Tool Face Offset (TFO)” on
page 15.
Or
Click the No button, if you do not want to set the high side of your tool at this time. The dialog box
closes.
If you clicked the No button because you want to perform the Tool Face Offset
(TFO) procedure later, you can access the Tool Face Offset Utility from the Menu
bar as follows:
Note Click on Load/Store and select Set Tool TFO. This opens the Tool Face Offset
(TFO) Utility window, as shown in Figure 23 on page 16.
You also can access the Tool Face Offset (TFO) Utility window by clicking the

When the retrieval is complete, the Retrieving Tool Configuration window closes automatically, and
the Receiver and Tool Configuration Comparison window opens, as shown in the example in
Figure 19 on page 12.
Heading row
If the Heading row of the Receiver and Tool Configuration Comparison window appears white, it
indicates that your tool and your receiver are fully synchronized, as shown in Figure 19.

3. To exit the Receiver and Tool Configuration Comparison window, click on File and select Close.
If the Heading row appears yellow, it indicates that some or all of the configuration data differ between
your tool and your receiver. Each row that shows differences is displayed in yellow to help you identify
the differences quickly, as shown in Figure 21.
To ensure that your tool and receiver are fully synchronized, follow these steps:
1. Read the data in the yellow rows carefully to determine which set of the configuration data is
correct (receiver values or tool values).
2. Close the Receiver and Tool Configuration Comparison window when you are done and follow
the instructions below.
3. If the configuration data of your tool is correct, then update the configuration of your receiver as
follows:
a. Click Load/Store in the Menu bar and select Load From > Tool.
