Sub: Reason for Cancellation of GST registration of M/s. Sunil Traders (Prop, Sunil
Chandrakant Birwatkar). (GSTIN- 27AVUPB4475B1ZI) - reg.
Based on the reference received from CGST, Jaipur Commissioner, this office has initiated an
enquiry against M/s Sunil Traders (GSTIN: 27AVUPB4475B1ZI). During the course of investigation,
it was revealed that M/s. SunilTraders has uploaded Electricity Bill in respect of Sunil Chandrakant
Birwatkar having Consumer No. 764408019 for address proof. On verification of the said Electricity
Bill from BEST Electricity website, it is found that the said Electricity Bill was in fact in the name of
Mr Mohd Azam Mohiddin Shaikh. Therefore, said taxpayer appears to be fake/ fictitious. It can be
construed that the Taxpayer had obtained registration by uploading fake documents by means of
fraud.
2. The Present status of M/s Sunil Trader is Cancelled on Application of Taxpayer w.e.f.
01.12.2022. Till date, the Taxpayer has not filed GSTR-10 to that extent. It is therefore requested to
initiate appropriate action against said taxpayer for non-filing of GSTR-10.
3 Since the application of cancellation of taxpayer has been approved by the Concerned Range
officer, it is requested to kindly provide the reasons of cancellation along with documents submitted
by the taxpayer to this office for further investigation.
