Job Description

Handling Agent
Reports to: Supervisor
Location: Luanda, Angola

Role Purpose

To perform the designated duties assigned as per departmental requirements and perform any other servicing
duties including sanitizing, cleaning, dusting and removing waste materials from aircraft or operational sites as per
the departmental SOP following QHSE norms & standards.

Main accountabilities include:


Ensure safe handling of baggage/cargo/documents/mails as per standard operating procedures for
o Loading & unloading
o Sorting & segregation
o Transfer, delivery and storage

Ensure sanitization and cleanliness of work areas and equipment and provide required assistance at
departmental sites.
Provide cabin cleaning service to ensure serviceability of passenger cabin zones, including galleys, seats,
toilets and upper deck of aircraft in transit or lay over as per standard operating procedures manuals.
Assist in providing wheelchair services to diversified passengers with their luggage, ensuring excellent
customer service.
Oversee the accurate processing, storage and dispatch of both inbound and outbound baggage, cargo, mail,
courier, and /or ULDs (Unit Load Devices) & other vehicles.
Ensure any loading deviation is authorized by the dispatcher or load controller before release of the aircraft.
Ensure reporting of equipment issues and FODs
Responsible to report workplace hazards, near misses, incidents to immediate supervisors and or station
QHSE and security department
Provide assistance as needed and perform other related duties as assigned by line manager.

Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and
safety rules or procedures.
Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

Qualifications and Experience

High School Diploma


Minimum 2 years of similar experience
Team player with ability to follow instructions
Customer service orientation and punctuality
Language Skills: Basic knowledge of oral and written English
