Sigils } an introduction What is a sigil? A sigil is a unique symbol created for the purpose of representing a specific intention. The creation of a sigil usually involves writing out a specific statement of intent and then condensing it into a single symbol through use of various methods. The resulting sigil is then charged with energy and used as a tool to help manifest the desired outcome. Common methods for creating sigils There are numerous ways to create sigils but the most common methods include the Austin Spare method, The Sauturn Square method and the freehand method. Some practicioners use a sigil wheel as well. Experiment with different methods to find the one that most resonates with you. Activating a sigil To activate a sigil, you need to charge it with energy and intention. One common method involves. visualizing the sigil and filling it with energy from your body. Another method is to burn the sigil while focusing on your intention, or to meditate on it and visualize it becoming more vibrant and charged with energy.
