Silent Princess Flower Crochet Pattern Approximate height: 20 cm tall (~7.

Materials/Tools
◦ Medium/worsted (4) weight yarn:
white (W), blue (B), green (G), brown (B)
◦ yellow (Y) embroidery thread
◦ Crochet hook: size G (4.0 mm), size D (3.0 mm)
◦ scissors, yarn needle, pliers
◦ plant wire, polyfill stuffing, glue
◦ terra cotta pot (the one that I used is 8.5 cm in diameter at the top
and 8 cm tall)

WHITE PETAL (Make 5) BLUE PETAL ACCENT (Make 5)
Use white (W) yarn. Use blue (B) yarn.
With W, chain 13. With B, chain 6.

R1 Skip first ch from hook, sc 1, hdc 2, dc 4, hdc 2, sc 3. R1 Skip first ch from hook, sc 5.

ASSEMBLING PETALS

FLOWER AND MAIN STEM ASSEMBLY Cut a strand of blue yarn (15 cm) and attach it behind one of the blue
petals.
Insert the stamen wire through the center of the flower and then
through the main stem. Then insert the needle into the bottom of each blue petal piece, going
clockwise, as shown.
If you are having trouble getting the wire through the stem, put tape
around the ends of the wire so that it creates a blunt tip and is easier to
insert through the stem.

Pull the yarn tight to close up the opening of the flower. Secure the
yarn and then weave in to hide the yarn end.
On the back of the flower, arrange the sepals (green tendrils) between
the white petals and sew them against the back of the petals.
FLOWER BUD FLOWER BUD AND STEM ASSEMBLY
Use white (W) yarn. Cut a 40 cm length of wire and fold it in half. Bend the tips at the ends
of the wire and insert into the bottom of the bud.

with polyfill and sew the opening closed.
Sew the sepals to the sides of the flower bud. Leave the tips unsewn so
that they curl at the top.
SHORT STEM
Use green (G) yarn.
With G, chain 5.
Join the ends with a sl st. You will now be working in rounds.

Finish with a sl st into the next stitch. Cut a short yarn tail. Stuff with
polyfill.
Sew the opening closed by inserting the needle into the front loops of
each stitch and pulling the yarn tail tight. Weave the remaining tail into
the soil to hide the end.

Add glue to the inside of the pot. Place the soil into the pot.

Congratulations! You’ve completed your very own Silent Princess.
