NOTE:

1. Purpose of Visit: Clearly state the reason for your visit (tourism, business, education, etc.)
and provide supporting documents if needed.

2. Financial Stability: Show evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay.

3. Ties to Home Country: Demonstrate strong ties to your home country to assure you'll return
after your authorized stay.

4. Travel History: Provide details of previous international travel, including compliance with
visa requirements.

5. Immigration Intent: Convince the interviewer of your intention to comply with visa
regulations and not overstay or engage in unauthorized employment.

 Explain the university's Reputation, Ranking & Awards.
 Highlight the specific programs and courses for your major, and share your personal
experience with the university.

programs.
 The location and campus environment, city's cultural offerings, climate, proximity to
industry hubs, and the overall campus culture contribute to the overall satisfaction.

 Academic Flexibility - students get opportunities to explore their interests and other
academic disciplines.
 Students have the choice of exploring different subjects before they choose a major.
 A unique curriculum, multicultural environment, advanced technology, and a plethora of
work opportunities are some of the reasons why I wish to study in the USA.

13. Tuition Fee?


 Note: Remember that the visa officer's goal is to ensure that you can sustain yourself
financially while studying in the United States.
 Providing clear and credible evidence of your ability to pay tuition fees will increase your
chances of obtaining an F1 visa.
 Maintain a confident and honest demeanour.
 Avoid giving ambiguous or conflicting answers, as this may raise doubts about your
financial stability.

14. Funding?
 My father is my primary sponsor with his savings of N- Number of Lakhs.
 I have secured an educational loan of N- Number of Lakhs.
 We have Immovable assets of N- Number of crores which can be liquified if needed.
 Any other source of Funding should be Explained Clearly.

15. What is your Father?


 Briefly state your father's occupation - My father is an engineer; my father is a teacher.
 Provide additional details if necessary - He works as a civil engineer, specializing in
infrastructure projects, He is a high school teacher, teaching mathematics and science.
 Mention the employer or organization - He works for ABC Construction Company, He
teaches at XYZ High School.
 Keep the focus on yourself - Connect it back to your own plans for studying in the United
States, mention how your father's occupation has influenced your decision to pursue a
particular field of study or how it has shaped your aspirations.
 Be confident and honest - Deliver your answer with confidence and honesty, avoid
providing inaccurate or misleading information, as it may negatively affect your visa
application.

16. What is the Annual Income of family?


 State the annual income: The annual income of your family.
For example, you can say, "The annual income of my family is [amount]."
 Clarify the currency: Specify the currency in which you are expressing the income, such as
US dollars, euros, or any other applicable currency.
 Provide context if necessary: If the visa officer asks for more information or context
regarding the income, you can brief the sources of income. For instance, "The annual
income includes my father's salary as a software engineer and my mother's income from
her business."
 Support with documentation if available: If you have any supporting documents, such as
bank statements, tax returns, or employment letters, that demonstrate the income of your
family, you can offer them as evidence.
 Be prepared to explain how the income will be used: Explain your financial plan, including
how the income will contribute to covering tuition fees, accommodation, meals,
transportation, and other necessary expenses.

 Express your interest to return to your home country: I’ll return to my home country upon
completion of my master's degree.
 I will use the skills and knowledge gained during my studies to contribute to my country's

 I have applied for N-number of Universities.
22. How many Admits, I-20?
 I have received number of admits from so and so Universities.
 I have received number of I-20’s.
 Only I-20’s can be known by the interviewer because, Sevis I.D is generated.

23. Reputation of the University?


 Compare two Universities – Place, Weather, Cost of living …etc.
 Ranking and Awards of the University
 Research study on the university.
 Specific Words or insights of college or university.
 Something highlighting your course in a specific university.

24. What are your Electives?


 Depends on student profile.
 Electives of the course the student has opted.
 Number of electives according to the course.
 Credits for each elective.
 Reason for selecting a particular elective.

25. How many Credits?


 Depends on student profile.
 Number of main subjects & number of electives according to the course.
 Credits for each subject or elective.
 Basics – Major Subjects – 7*3= 21
Electives – 3*3=9
Total – 30 Credits.

26. Credit Hours & Cost?


 Depends on the University.
 The course opted.
 Cost per credit will basically be in-between 500$ - 1200$.

27. OPT & CPT?


 Optional Practical training – It is the work authorization given to students in the US o their
F1 VISA.
 Pre-Completion OPT – If the student chooses to work before completion of his studies.
 Post-Completion OPT - If the student chooses to work after completion of his studies.
 Work authorization Flexibilities.
 Duration of OPT is 12 months which can be extended up to 24 months
 Curricular Practical Training – CPT is a temporary work authorization provided to the
students on F-1 visa, which is directly related to their majors for a period of a total 12
months.
 CPT must be integral to your program of study.
 CPT can be done for up to 12 months.
 You won't be eligible for OPT if you work in CPT for 12 months full time.

28. Have you done any Internship?


 If Yes, Mention the details where you have done your Internship.
 Duration of the Internship.
 Mention if it is paid or unpaid.
 Location where you have done the Internship.
29. What did you learn in your Internship?
 Key learnings from the Internship.

 I have noticed that my career growth is very slow.
 So, I wanted to pursue my Master’s in order to gain knowledge.
 In USA there is more scope for my course of study than in India.
 So, I wanted to complete my Education and come back to my country.
 So that I can have many career options with ease.

34. How did you come to Embassy?

 I’ve travelled through Public transport to reach here. [Metro, Bus].

 I met all the Requirements of USA Embassy.
 My Profile is Completely Genuine.
 I have no false documents.
 I am confident about my profile.
 So, there is no chance to reject my VISA.

38. Why did you get rejected last time?


 Depends on Student Profile.
 The accuracy when they speak.
 Confidence in their words.
 Body Language during the Interview.
 lack of strong ties to your home country, insufficient financial documentation, incomplete
application, concerns about your intentions to return home after studies, or doubts about the
authenticity of your educational plans.

39. What will you do in your free time?


 As I’ll be new to the place I would love to explore places nearby.
 I’ll try and make new friends by interacting with People around.
 Try doing New Adventures.
 Connect all other things that you would like to add.
 I’ll go meet my friends who live in nearby place.
