BUSINESS DEDICATION SERMON
Today, we dedicate a business office and a business to God. There is
nothing wrong with dedicating business. In fact, all these were good and of God as long as we do this in accordance to purpose and of Him, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Almost all “BUSINESS DEDICATION” asks God’s blessings for our
businesses. And in fact, this is the reason why we are here, to ask God for His blessing for this new established business office. But most of these dedications can also be easily forgotten simply because the heart of the business owner is focused on the business and not of God.
This is why this morning, we want to make it different. We will be
asking God for his blessings, and in return give to God what is due to him, the business itself.
13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8:13-18
Do Not Let Wealth Hinder Your Service To God
In the book of Matthew 19:24 it says, “Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.” The passage talks about people who are wealthy but because wealth, it has been harder for them to obey God, to follow Jesus Christ. Do Not Let Your Hearts Love Money In the book of 1 Timothy 6:10 it says, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” The Bible has been very clear that the “Love of Money, is the root of all evil.” When we start loving money, it will be the beginning of our spiritual downfall. Love of money is a form of idolatry which is evidenced by covetousness, evil desires, greediness and all other kinds of evil.
Do Not Let Your Focus Turn Away From God
In the book of Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 say, “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities—all is vanity. What profit has a man of all his labor which he takes under the sun?” King Solomon in all his splendor, with all his wealth, with all his riches, with all his fame, have seen all these things as vanity under the sun unless that labor is for the Lord.
Conclusion Where does your desire and purpose of your business rest? Is it to enrich ourselves? Or to give glory to the King who gives it?

I believe that God, my heavenly Father desires that all things be
reconciled back to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. As of today I acknowledge that God is the rightful owner of Navi Shpping and I am merely His steward looking after His resources.
Therefore, I ask you God to forgive us and cleanse us by the blood of
your son Jesus Christ. God, I ask you to redeem Navi Shipping, all its assets and reputation so that it can be used to bring glory and honor to your name.
I desire to be a Priest in this company and pledge to lead this company
for Christ to the best of my ability. I will do everything in my capacity as owner to honor you in all the practices and dealings of Navi Shipping I now dedicate Navi Shipping, all its assets to you for the advancement of your Kingdom.
Help me God to carry out all that I pledge to do, in Jesus name. Amen.
BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT PRAYER
_Outside the doorway_
May God give His blessing on this place. God bless it from roof to floor, from wall to wall, from end to end, from its foundation and in its covering. In the strong name of the Triune God: all evil be banished, all disturbance cease, captive spirits freed, God’s Spirit alone dwell within these walls. We call upon the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to save, shield and surround this place, this day, and every day.
_In the entrance or reception room
May all be welcome here, friend and stranger, from near and far. May each be blessed and honoured as they enter. There is a friend’s love in the gentle heart of the saviour. For love of him we offer friendship and welcome every guest.
_In each room and work area
Peace be here in the name of the king of life, the peace of Christ above all peace; the Lord’s blessing over all. May God the Father be the guardian of this place and bring his peace. May his love be shared, and his will be found here, and peace between all people. May the Spirit bring lightness and laughter here. May he be the strengthener and comforter in times of difficulty. May the Lord give peace but never complacency. Here may encouragement be found and relationships strengthened. Each day, every day, each going out, and each returning, the Lord bless you and keep you. Peace between person and person; peace between all who work here; the peace of Christ above all peace; peace between friends each day and every day. We pray for all who work here. May the joy and peace of heaven be with you and around you. The Lord bless them

Christ, in our coming and in our leaving, be the Door and the Keeper for us and all who work in this place, this day and every day, ever and always. Amen.
