2) Summary
This study aimed to assess the relationship between HR practices and organizational commitment among
telecommunication sector employees in Pakistan. Data from 218 employees was collected, and the results
showed significant variations in organizational commitment. The relationship between recruitment and selection,
training, and work environment was complementarily mediated by job satisfaction, while performance appraisal
satisfaction was indirect-only. The study suggests telecom companies should focus on HR practices that
positively impact employee performance and service quality.

5) Research Methodology
The study employs a cross-sectional design, collecting data from white-collar, low, and mid-level employees of
four telecommunication companies in Lahore. Convenience sampling is used, but it may introduce selection bias
and compromise the study's external validity. A more robust sampling technique, such as random sampling,
could have been considered. The sample size is not explicitly mentioned, but it depends on the statistical power
required to detect meaningful effects and the complexity of the model being tested.

average variance extracted, correlations, and path analysis.

The study utilized statistical tools to assess the reliability and convergent validity of measurement scales,
establish discriminate validity between latent variables, evaluate structural equation model fit, and check
multi-collinearity in path analysis. Path analysis examined HR practices, employee engagement, and
organizational culture, while mediation analysis explored job satisfaction's role as a mediator.

mediation analysis.
