WEEKLY TEST:
elephants are huge and Powerful animals adults weigh about 10,000 pounds
that's the weight of more than 60 people and as you may know some people
use them to help with work today I'm going to look at how humans and
elephants live and work together to people it seems that all elephants are
the same but in fact which one is different some are leaders some are less
popular some are more social Etc Studies have shown that elephants have
an understanding of who they are and what their place is in the herd we
also know that they're able to communicate this social information to one
another they are animals with very strong emotions which can be seen in
the soft loving touch of a mother's trunk on her calf or in the anger of an
elephant bull fighting an enemy
the fact that elephants have large Social Circles and develop friends is
unusual in the animal world they also help ….. they're in times of need and
are known to do the same for humans and other animals

Ask: said that elephant scare about people but I've heard stories where
elephants hurt people sometimes destroying their homes why would they do
that if they are so empathetic
Ans: not that long ago the answer to that question would have simply been
those elephants are crazy but scientists have been studying elephants have
begun to see that they almost only attack people when they've been hurt by
them in the past so the new thinking is that elephants choose who and what
to attack what we're discovering is that elephants decide to attack after
something bad has happened to them and that's quite amazing if you think
about it for example if a group of humans hunts a herd of elephants the
elephants will fight back but they do not always do this right away instead
they often attack at a later time elephants feel something then plan to do
something about it in the future so they can be empathy sure but they can
also get angry and violent as well this also shows that they are very
intelligent they can plan an attack not just react right away in normal
situations elephants live in nature so living around humans isn't exactly
natural and sometimes people make them work scientists have discovered
that this creates stress for them therefore if elephants decide not to do what
we want we're the ones in trouble but usually they don't
The intricate social structure of an ant colony lies at the heart of its remarkable success. From the
unwavering dedication of the queen ant to the tireless work of countless workers, everyone plays a
crucial role in ensuring the colony's survival and growth. Their sophisticated defense mechanisms
safeguard against both natural and biological threats, while their remarkable ability to cooperate,
facilitated by chemical senses and learned behavior, allows them to adapt and thrive in diverse
environments. As we delve deeper into the secrets of ant colonies, we gain not only a profound
appreciation for their complex lives but also insights into the power of shared purpose and efficient
collective action. These tiny titans remind us that the strength of an organism is not solely determined by
size or individual prowess, but rather by the synergy of a united community working towards a common
goal.
