REDESIGN ILT to Online Learning
What VILT is and Isn’t
VILT is classroom training conducted via video conferencing software. It is
a synchronous online training format that offers learners the benefits of the
human interaction of a brick-n-mortar classroom without the associated
costs and logistic headaches.
VILT isn’t a webinar or conducting an ILT using a conferencing facility.
Materials Needed for VILT
1. An introductory ‘Getting Started Webinar’ with hands on practice
2. Facilitator PPTs
3. Facilitator Guides (Word Docs) – with content and information on how to
use the platform
4. Participant materials
5. Reference materials for activities/post work/next steps
