 Working in GL Accounting team for UK based leading Airport IT and Infrastructure Service Provider

 Prepare and Review of Trail Balance to analyze the movement of all the Assets and Liability accounts
and prepare an explanation
 Prepare the Journal entries and recording the transaction in respective General ledger in the Oracle
ERP like Expense Booking, Intercompany journal, Reclass journal entries, Accrual journal entries, etc.
 Listing out of outstanding items in balance sheet accounts basis category which helped management to
figure out the problematic area and make strategic planning to address the pain areas
 Ensure monthly GL closing and reconciliation activities are processed for the unit as per Work
Instructions within the agreed SLA.
 Maintain all email queries/escalations tracker ensured it has been replied without delay.
 Quality Check of all the tasks performed by the team. (QC of Journal Entries, Reconciliations and
Reports)
 Preparation of Governance report of during the dedicated reconciliation period and circulating to
finance leaders and also to have traction on completeness
 Weekly & Monthly engagement with client (Onshore Business) to discuss on the monthly Flight Plan.

 I was part of closing and reconciliation team which is responsible for preparing reconciliation of balance
sheet accounts in an automated and semi-automated environment
 Ensured to prepare and review monthly accounting entries to General ledger like Intercompany
journal, Prepaid Rent entries, Accrual entries, etc.
 Prepare ageing reports for outstanding breaks and ensured all the queries from clients, external team
members are promptly addressed.
 Significant experience in Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register (Asset capitalization, Transfer,
Retirement, Project closure etc.).
 Handle all email queries/escalations for unit within agreed TAT and ensured it has been replied without
fail.
 Preparation of ad-hoc journals as and when requested by client
 Monitoring of Compliance guidelines being adhered to among the team members specified out by the
organization
 Escalated outstanding breaks as required, both verbally and in writing, assessing for control and risk
requirements
 One Month Closing and reconciliation On-Job training experience in New Zealand
 Experience in Preparing and updating the SOP’s (Standard operating procedures)

 Working Knowledge of tools for e.g. NXG Accurate, Service Now, Workspace, FileNet, Oracle R12,
