General Notes:
1. All fresh PILs shall be listed before the Bench presided over by the Acting Chief Justice.
2. Mentioning of urgent matters will be before DB-I.
3. Matters other than part-heard, presently pending before various Benches, shall stand
transferred to the respective Benches as per the above roster.
4. All Public Interest Litigation Matters irrespective of their being part heard (other than those
transferred by the Roster Bench) be listed before the Roster Bench i.e. DB-1.
5. Regular/final hearing matters would be listed chronologically so that old matters can be given
priority in disposal.

7. ‘Commercial Appellate Division’ has been constituted with three Division Benches, namely,
DB-I, DB-II and DB-V. Hon’ble Judges who are members of said Division Benches, as per the
present roster have been nominated to be the Judges of the Commercial Appellate Division.
8. Matters to be heard by the Commercial Appellate Division shall be assigned by the Chief Justice
amongst the seven Commercial Appellate Divisions.
9. ‘Commercial Division’ consists of eight benches of a Single Judge each. Hon’ble Ms. Justice
Prathiba M.Singh, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Prateek Jalan, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anup Jairam
Bhambhani, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Narula, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jasmeet Singh, Hon’ble
Ms. Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma and Hon’ble Mr.
Justice Anish Dayal have been nominated to be the Judges of the ‘Commercial Division’.
10. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Narula and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anish Dayal have been nominated
to function as ‘IP Division’.
11. Matters to be heard by the IP Division shall be assigned by Hon’ble Judge In-charge (Original
Side) amongst the two IP Divisions.

12. In the event of change in the Judges nominated by the Acting Chief Justice constituting the
‘Commercial Division’ and ‘Commercial Appellate Division’, part-heard matters shall stand
transferred to the Hon’ble Judge who will have the power of ‘Commercial Division’ and
‘Commercial Appellate Division’, limited to that case only.
13. Hon’ble Judge-in-Charge, Original Side will distribute fresh Arbitration Matters including
Commercials Matters under the Arbitration Act, 1940 and the Arbitration and Conciliation Act,
1996 between ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘F’ & ‘G’ Courts.
14. Hon’ble Judge-in-Charge, Original Side will mark matters other than Arbitration Matters
including Commercial Matters to ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘F’ & ‘G’ Courts.
15. All the Hon’ble Judges on the Original Side are empowered to deal with suits/petitions arising
under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act,1996 falling under Section 20-B of the Specific Relief
Act,1963.
16. All Matters to be heard by ‘Commercial Appellate Division’ pending before DB-III and DB-IV
shall stand transferred to DB-II.
17. All Matters to be heard by ‘Commercial Appellate Division’ pending before DB-VI, DB-VII and
DB-VIII shall stand transferred to DB-V.
18. All fresh Bail Applications shall be equally distributed amongst all the Single Bench Judges
