TCS Email Account creation check

After creating your email account in Ultimatix-GESS and at least after 24 hrs, please go to Ultimatix-GESS-
My Profile-Select Email again and confirm your email account has been successfully created. You should see
something like the following screen with your information:

GESS Email Selection

For any queries related to your email account creation, password issue, rise a ticket in Ultimatix > TCS Global
Helpdesk using the following details:

- Category: Internal IT Services


- Type: TCS Email Services
- Summary: Provide appropriate summary/description of your issue

How to Access your TCS Email Account


After successfully completing the email account creation step please follow these instructions to get access
to your TCS email account depending on your license status:

A) - New joiners or regular associates with or without TCS asset with M365 F1 license
1.- Open https://myapp.tcs.com in any browser from your TCS asset or any personal or mobile device. Sign-
in using your Ultimatix credentials
2.- You will be shown several apps, select the Exchange_Mail app

3.- Log-in to your account using your SOAM Domain id and your SOAM Domain password in the following
form:

Username: SOAM\empid - where empid is your employee id (e.g. SOAM\1234567)

Password: Your SOAM Domain password

After a successful login you will be shown your email Inbox


B) - For TCS new joiners and regular associates with E1 license and TCS asset only
1.- Open the following link https://outlook.office365.com/mail with Microsoft Edge

2.- Sign-in using your O365 user id, SOAM Domain Password and your selected Two Factor Authentication
method
O365 Userid: empid@tcs.com -- where empid is your employee id (e.g. 1234567@tcs.com)

Password: SOAM Domain password

M365 F1 License Details


Microsoft 365 F1 is a basic, light weight Office365 License that is primarily aimed at
enabling MS teams for all TCSers.
+ MS Teams & Read-only Office suite on Mobile
+ On-premise Outlook mail box (Exchange_Mail app)
+ Email accessible via browser on myapp.tcs.com

Now you can access your F1 TCS email account using Outlook mobile app
Associates with O365 MF1 license can configure and access their email using “Outlook” on
mobile app (iOS and Android).

The Outlook mobile app will have only four weeks of emails and all calendar/ contacts.

Please note, as per users license terms, following features will not be available for end users.

• Draft folder and Draft messages synchronization


• Shared Mail/ Calendar access and delegate Mail/ Calendar access
• Calendar attachments
• Task management with Microsoft To-Do
• Sensitivity labeling
C) - For TCS new joiners and regular associates with E1 or E3 license with non TCS asset
1.- Open https://myapp.tcs.com in any browser in any personal or mobile device. Sign-in using your
Ultimatix credentials

2.- You will be shown several apps, select O365_Mail app

3.- Sign-in using your O365 user id, SOAM Domain Password and your selected Two Factor Authentication
method

O365 Userid: empid@tcs.com -- where empid is your employee id (e.g. 1234567@tcs.com)

Password: SOAM Domain password


After a successful login you will be shown your email inbox

Associates entitled with O365 F1 & E3 license


can also configure and access their email using
“Outlook” and MS Teams apps on mobile (iOS
and Android)
