Stage Activity Description
Lesson Outcome - After lesson, student can:
- talk about the school day
- talk about what you've got / he's got ...
- have practised some words with 'f' sound
- have known 'ph' and 'f' spelling for 'f' sound
After greeting:
- T shares screen and sound
Warm-up - T introduces the topic of the unit by playing a video about school and subjects.
- T can pause the video while watching to ask S for any vocabulary that S knows and to say what
S can see, and what S think is happening.
- S watches the video, then answers the questions:
* What are your favourite subjects at school? Why do you like these subjects?
Pre-task Activity 1 - T shows content of the lesson, then explains what to do in each part.

Hidden Pictures

beneath is slowly revealed. S can shout out and guess what the word is

Listen. What homework does Miguel give the children?
- Before listening, T asks S some questions to help get the general information.
Activity 4 * Who can you see? Where are they? Who is talking? What can you see?
- T asks S to read the caption.
- T checks S know what the symbols on the timtable represent.
- T plays the audio and asks S to listen and answer the big question (What homework does
Miguel give the children?).
Answer: They have to do a project about Turkey, with their favourite school subject.
Procedure
Activity 5 Say the chant
- T plays the video of the chant.
- S listens and chants.
- T can let S practise the chant with mimes.
Write your school timetable. Ask and answer.
- T instructs S before writing by asking some questions:
Activity 6 * What time does school start? When's the break? Which days have you got (science)?
- T shows the empty timetable and asks S to complete the table on screen using annotation tool
on Zoom app if S is good at it. In case, your S do not know how to use annotation, T can let S
create the table on S's notebook.
- After completing, T asks questions to know more about S's timetable. S answers those
questions.
Teaching 2 Listen and circle the 'f' sound in each word.

- S listens and circle the 'f' sound in each word.
