Break down your total lumens

◆ Consider your space’s purposes and functions, then

determine your lighting layers. A balance use of 3 lighting layers in 3000K makes
the space cozy and cheery.

◆ Break down the total lumens and allocate the right amount
to each lighting layers.
For example: In a museum, more lumens should be allocated to the accent
lighting layer, since they are needed for highlighting and drawing visitors’ gaze
to the artwork.

Hint: If the ambient light level is significantly less than the accent and task,
space will appear more dramatic. In contrast, if the ambient light level is nearly
as high, the room will be cheerier.
