INTERCLASS EMULSION

SCOPE

Interclass emulsion is a moderate / Economy quality water based paint with 100%
styrene acrylic emulsion that dries rapidly and give the walls smooth finish. It has
reduced dirt pick-up & give the walls a rich finish. It is characterized by excellent flow
and levelling, moderate opacity and smooth finish. Recommended for interior / non
screeded wall application

Specific gravity : 1.60 + 0.04


% NVM (by wt.) : 64 + 1
Viscosity of supply : 140 – 150 Ku on stormer viscometer at 30°c
Thinner : Municipal / Potable water
Thinning ratio (by vol.) : Rolling – as such or up to 5% if required.
Brushing – 15 - 20 %

Covering capacity : 2.8 – 3.4 sq.mt / litre by Roller.

Hard dry / Recoatability : 60 – 90 min.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Highly recommended for interior non-screeded wall, Some colors are applied on
exterior use. Also suitable on plaster/concrete, fibrous cement sheeting,
stucco/roughcast, concrete blocks, brick work, timber and weather boards.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Remove dust, dirt, grease, and loose flaking paint by sanding with suitable abrasive
paper and thoroughly cleaning the surface. If mould or fungus is present on the
concrete wall then treat with anti-fungus solution.

APPLICATION

Stir the contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer using an
upward lifting action.
Apply uniformly by convenient method of application, after thinning the paint to
obtain the desired level of consistency. 2nd coat to be applied only after 60- 80 min of
the 1st coat.

 Do not apply at temperature below 10°c


 Provide adequate ventilation during use
 Keep out of reach of children
 Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wear suitable protective clothing such as
overalls, goggles, dust masks and gloves
 Dispose in landfills only.
