Robotics Arduino Traffic Light Activity

The document provides instructions for an Arduino traffic light activity. Students are asked to: 1) Create a sketch that cycles the lights in a specific sequence when a button is pressed. 2) Connect the circuit on a breadboard based on a diagram. 3) Explain why the lights will not turn off directly when the button is released. The activity is scored based on criteria such as providing materials, following instructions, observations, performance of the circuit, and timely submission.

low, delay 0.1 second, , pin 7 is high, delay 0.5 second, pin 7 is low, delay 0.1 second, , pin 7 is high, delay 0.5
second, pin 7 is low, delay 0.1 second.

2. Connect the circuit using the Breadboard based on the connection diagram.

3. If we release the pushbutton switch (turn off) why is it that the LED’s will not turn off directly?
