GPA Calculator

Instructions:
1. Enter the details for each course, it's weight, and the final grade. Rember that courses ending with H are
worth 0.5 credit and courses ending in a Y are worth 1.0 credit.
2. If you have failed a course (0-49%) and have not earned the credit, you still need to record the grade and
the credit value that course would have been worth. You must include both failed and successful course
attempts.
3. If you are repeating or have repeated a course, only record the course once with the higher mark earned
as only the higher mark will count towards your GPA.

4. If you would like to set GPA goals for the future, add your current or future classes to the bottom of the
chart and see how your GPA changes as you impot predicted or hopeful grades. REMEMBER: if yo uare
retaking a course and think you will do better, go back and remove the previous course as only your newer
higher grade will count towards the GPA.

5. If you are calculating an average for a subset of courses, only include the courses you are looking to
calculate for. For example, if you are calculating an average for your specialization, only include the
courses relevant to the specialization.
