SAP EWM – CLASS 40 – Scraping

1. Define New Storage type as Scrapping Zone


SPRO-IMG- SCM Extended Warehouse Management- Extended Warehouse Management- Master
Data- Define Storage Type
Copy from existing Storage type 8040 and create 1040 (Scrapping Zone)

2. Create Bin as SCRAP-ZONE for Storage type 1040

3. Define Warehouse Process Type


SPRO-IMG-SCM Extended Warehouse Management-Extended Warehouse Management-
Cross-Process Settings-Warehouse Task-Define Warehouse Process Type

Select Warehouse process 4020 (Scrap) and create new warehouse process type for scrap as
1020

4. Assign Availability group to Storage Type


SPRO-IMG-SCM Extended Warehouse Management-Extended Warehouse Management-
Goods Receipt Process-Configure Availability Group for Putaway- Assign Availability
Group to Storage Type

Warehouse – E102, Storage Type – 1040

5. Configuring Stock Type


SPRO-IMG-SCM Extended Warehouse Management-Extended Warehouse Management-
Goods Receipt Process-Configure Availability Group for Putaway-Configuring stock type

EWM Warehouse, Stock Type is mapped to Availability Group

6. POST the stock to Stock type as S6 (Scrap)


Tcode - /N/SCWM/POST
Will do the transfer posting of the Product – 125 to Stock type S6 from F2
Source Bin – 0150-01-05
Click on Form View

Product 125 Posted to S6 stock type

Confirm in Warehouse Monitor - /N/SCWM/MON

7. Create Warehouse Task to Move the material into SCRAP BIN (SCRAP-ZONE)

Enter, then enter product as 125 and execute

Click on Form view and enter quantity then click on Create+Save
