Description: Performed migration using Lift and Shift approach.

Schwab(A Leading financial client) is migrating data from existing Teradata and Big Data to new Cloud
Data warehouse platform using GCP. This includes migrating data integration process, Refactoring
business reports and dashboards to new Cloud platform. There were around 13 K tables/9K IICS jobs/2K
Talend jobs/2K DAI Python scripts and 467 reports which need to be migrated to new Cloud platform.
• Collaborating with the product owner to obtain the list of applications planned for migration to the
Google Cloud Platform.
• Reviewing the inventory lineage to identify the In-Scope tables and views planned for the sprint.
• Coordinating with Control-M DEV team to ensure the proper configuration of jobs in the test
environment, adhering to the production schedule, verifying predecessor and successors and their
order dates.
• Monitoring Control M Talend, DAI and Informatica jobs, analyzing logs in case of failures, reporting
defects in Jira and working closely with the development team to resolve issues. .
• Verifying record counts and ensuring data accuracy at the field level in GCP against Onprem
tables.
• Participating in daily scrum meetings to review testing progress and prioritize defect resolution.
Regularly sharing daily status reports with Senior Management.
• Providing support to the business team for UAT testing – Data sync ups in Preprod, Analyzing the
reported defects and reassigning to Development team for resolution
• Creating and maintaining KT documents, conducting walk through sessions to familiarize new
team members with the applications and the testing process.
• Worked on Control-M, Batch Jobs Monitoring and Scheduling tool from BMC-Software.
• Creates, modifies, and schedules batch jobs. Assists with creation and maintenance of batch
operations processes.
• Continuous improvement of the Enterprise Job Scheduling service of Control-M.
• Build and validate job flows, calendar requirements, and scheduling criteria.
• Resolves Batch issues identified during the production jobs, Provide feedback on batch
performance.
• Provide technical support for batch operations.
• Transfer of Knowledge to Support and other personnel.
• Experience in starting/stopping the Control M agent.
• Involve in Implementation of Change Request (CR) through work orders.
• Implementation of all job modification /deletion through Change management.

• Proactively monitoring batch jobs for daily processing; ensure Accuracy and quality of completed
jobs
• Knowledge of scheduling jobs through Control M Desktop scheduling application.
• Perform batch job inquiry, cancel batch jobs, restart batch jobs that are in an abandoned, re-run
batch jobs.
• Perform Kill and delete functions.
• Handling Adhoc requests from the users.
• Maintaining the SLA’s (service level agreement) of the users.
• Provides daily reports for the count matching at both environments, to validate the data is not
missing with the validation queries.
• Check and validate the statistics at the GCP-big query with respect to On prem-Teradata
• Gather requirement from client, business analysis and raising JIRA tickets and defects to DEV
team related to PRE-PROD, PROD environment.
• Preparing transition document for other team members, Active participation in weekly/daily status
calls with onshore /offshore Handshake Call.
Project 2: Mphasis(ZNA)
Zurich is a leading multi-line insurer serving people and businesses in more than 200 countries and
territories. Providing a quotation to log New business policy and all the process involves Renewals, MTAs
(Mid Term Amendments) till Policy cancelation/lapses. Provided quality documents to the Clients/Brokers
within turnaround time (TAT).
• Performed Manual testing on all the production applications and the different queues.
•Provide complete operational assistance to the Sales & Marketing person as well as the Operation
Manager.
• Prepare quotations of insurance products and a forward reply to inquires in confirmation with the
Underwriters of UK.
• Maintaining the data to ensure all the mandatory disclosures are completed and sent to the market
Underwriter for the client's review and approval.
• Active participation in production (Data Analysis, Data Entry, Data Processing) in order to meet
individual/team target, productivity, quality and SLA.
• Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any change in beneficiary,
amount of coverage, or type of insurance.
• Examine letters from policyholders or agents, original insurance applications, and other company
documents to determine if changes are needed and effects of changes.
• Calculate premiums, refunds, commissions, adjustments, and new reserve requirements, using
insurance rate standards.
• Monitoring all the entries in production applications and documents before sharing the documents
to the client to avoid data breach and maintain quality policies.
• Provide Quality report to the Client on Weekly/Monthly basis to overcome the challenges in Quality
of the product.
