PETITION FOR DIVORCE

That the petitioner is an adult resident of DAR ES SAALAM who was born in 15/10/1999 and
her adress of service for purpose of this Petition is P. O. BOX 3111, DAR ES SAALAM-
TANZANIA.

That the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was contracted on 06/02/2010 and
has been blessed with one issue to wit................ having born on the 15 day of 10, 1999

That during the marriage the petitioner and the respondents jointly acquired the following
properties one living house, two vehicles, one primary school and ten cows

That honest to their conscience the parties herein that their marriage has broken down irrepably.
Copy of a separation Agreement dated.......... to that effect duly authenticated by both the parties
is annexed and the petitioner craves for leave of the court to refer to it as part of this petition

That on the premises the petitioner avers categolically that this marriage to the respondent has
irreparably broken down

That both the parties and the respondent resides in DAR ES SAALAM and that the cause of
action arose within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court.

WHEREFORE the petitioner prays for following orders:

-The declarations that the marriage has broken down irreparably.


-An order to dissolve the marriageand a decree for divorce be granted.

-Division of matrimonial properties.

-Child maintenance and Custody.


-Any other relief this Honourable Court deems fit to grant.
