MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT KNOW

ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) entered and executed by and between.

The SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY TIBANGA, ILIGAN CITY, represented by SK


Chairman DHYAN C. DESAMPARADO, hereinafter referred to as SK,

And

The Local Volleyball Referees represented by AVELINO R. RUBEN

WITNESSETH

“WHEREAS, The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Tibanga, Iligan City as mandated by Law, value the
development of the youth in the field of Sports to enable to become law-abiding citizens as well as
enhance their skills in sports;

“WHEREAS, The Local Referees has the Technical Knowhow and track record to assist the LGU in
the field of Sports Development especially among the youth;

“NOW THEREFORE, for and consideration of the foregoing, the Parties agreed, as they hereby agree, to
undertake their respective role as provided hereunder;

A. Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tibanga, Iligan City


1) Provide the venue for the holding of the Basketball Tournament as well as
its illumination when games are conducted daytime.
2) Appropriate and Release funds to defray the expense of the league, as follows:

Honorarium for Referees : P 131,000.00

Total P 131,000.00

3) Provide Technical assistance in the Operation and Management of the conference.


4) Provide Barangay Police Assistance.
5) Monitor the Operation of the Tournament to ensure full implementation of the
Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.
B. Local Referees
1) Responsible for the conduct of the Basketball Tournament and ensure its
smooth Operations until the end of the conference.
2) Responsible for setting up rules and regulations made by the Barangay
Sports Committee.

This Agreement shall take effect upon its signing by the Parties and shall remain in full force until all
undertaking of this AGREEMENT has been faithfully complied with.

Done this 7th day of February, 2024 in Barangay Tibanga, Iligan City.
