series of 2024 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE RONALD V. SINGSON REPRESENTATIVE FIRST DISTRICT ILOCOS SUR FOR THE CONCRETING OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD OF PUROK SAMPAGUITA AND PUROK VILLA FLORES BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO YABES (PUG – OS), SINAIT, LOCOS SUR FOR EASY ACCESS AND RAPID TRANSIT OF EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 empowers the Local government Unit to enact ordinances and pass resolutions for the general welfare of the province and its inhabitants pursuant to general welfare clause, and in particular the promotion of accessible roads for the rapid exchange of products and services;
WHEREAS, section 33 of the same Code provides that the local government units may, through appropriate ordinances, group themselves, consolidate, or coordinate their efforts, services, and resources for purposes commonly beneficial to them;
WHEREAS, residents of barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os) their main source of living is fishing wherein they can easily transport their catch aquatic products.
WHEREAS, the condition of the barangay road is a constraint to the proper handling and transportation of the products towards the Sinait Public Market; WHEREAS, when concrete roads are constructed, Pug - oseañs situated in purok Sampaguita and Villa Flores develop progression for faster production, transportation, and transaction of the products and services that help the growth of the community and improve quality of life;
WHEREAS, farm-to-market road construction will be reaped by the beneficiaries as it will be utilized to integrate development in the agricultural and industrial sectors of our municipality specifically Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Puig – os), Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Florante A. Pagud Chaiman Committee on Agriculture as it is hereby
resolved to pass A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE RONALD V. SINGSON REPRESENTATIVE FIRST DISTRICT OF ILOCOS SUR FOR THE CONCRETING OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD OF PUROK SAMPAGUITA AND PUROK VILLA FLORES BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO YABES (PUG – OS), SINAIT, LOCOS SUR FOR EASY ACCESS AND RAPID TRANSIT OF EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution shall be furnished to the office of Hon. Ronald V. Singson for proper action and approval.
