Deskripsi Singkat Materi
Musik merupakan bahasa universal. Kita menikmati musik, mengekspresikan
perasaan dan menyampaikan pesan melalui lagu. Apakah Anda suka
‘mendengarkan musik? Apakah Anda suka mengekspresikan perasaan melalui lagu?
‘Apakah Anda suka bemyanyi untuk menghilangkan rasa jenuh atau lelah? Lagu
‘apa yang sering Anda dengarkan? Mengapa? Apakah ada lagu yang kalian suka
karena liriknya?
Lirik lagu dapat memengaruhi mood seseorang. Ada banyak pesan dan
‘makna dari sebuab lirik lagu yang bisa kita dapatkan. Pesan dan makna dari lirik
lagu bisa Anda peroleh jika Anda bisa menafsirkan dan menangkap makna dari
sebuah lirik lagu.
Pada lembar kerja ini, Anda akan mempelajari beberapa lirik lagu agar dapat
‘menafsirkan tujuan dan unsur kebahasaannya serta dapat menangkap makna atau
pesan yang disampaikan dalam lagu. Disamping itu, Anda juga dapat menambah
erbendaharaan kata dan mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara dengan

The language features of songs include the followings:

Imagery Is the language used to create images in the listeners mind.

Figurative language refers to the use of words in a way that deviates from the
Conventional meaning. There are some types of figurative language. Here are the

Simile: Comparing two things using “like” or "as", e.g. “He is as brave as lion”.
‘Metaphor: Comparing two things that are not alike, e.g. "You are my sunshine".
