CHAPTER ONE
1.0 INTRODUCTION
This project deals with both underground and below ground drainage.
It will also deal with the installation of bottle trap, gulley trap and manhole cover.
1.1 OBJECTIVE
The materials such as bottle trap, grease trap and gulley trap make it easy to separate grease from
water to prevent such blockage.
1.2 SIGNIFICANT
It collects and therefore reduces the amount of fats grease and oil that enters the main sewer.
Grease entering the main sewer system will overtime create blockage, foul and pest infestation.
1.3 SCOPE
To prevent blockages.
CHAPTER TWO
In the design, the owner of the house were connecting kitchen waste water direct from kitchen to
the sewer without using grease trap which was not friendly to environment.
10
2.0 ABOUT PROPOSED DESIGN
Easy to maintain since it has two trap and large diameter of the pipe.
Durable the material such as grease trap and bottle trap last longer.

Step two
Purchasing the required materials.
12
Step three
Assemble the materials and tools required the project and grouping them accordingly to avoid
damages.
Step four
Making the chisel wall and digging the trench from the wall to the grease trap.
Step five
Fixing and joining all pipes and appliance from kitchen sink to the grease trap.

6.0 RECOMMENDATION
I recommend big hotels to use grease trap since it is more efficient and cheap.
