Trading Questionnaire

This document contains a trading questionnaire that is used during each trading session to ensure discipline and follow a specific plan. The questionnaire includes checks for being in a trading session, having positive reward relative to risk, checking for relevant fundamentals and technical variables, following the overall trend, limiting the number of trades per day to 1-2 and risking no more than 2% per trade, and reflecting on emotional state and adherence to the trading plan. The goal is to only take trades that pass all checks and avoid impulsive actions, with the overall aim of improving trading skills and outcomes over time.

Trading Questionnaire

This is a questionnaire that I have with me at all times during trading session. If not all the
boxes are ticked, I won’t enter that trade. Trading is about having a plan and discipline.

Am I in-session?
Is my Reward positive towards my Risk?
Are there any Fundamentals?
If yes, how do they affect the instrument I am trading?

________________________________________________________
________________________________________________________
Are there any macro-variables?

What are they? And how do they affect the instrument I am trading?
___________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________
Are there any micro-variables?
What are they? And how do they affect the instrument I am trading?
___________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________
What is the overall trend?
Am I following the trend?

How many trades did I take today? (Stop Overtrading)

Am I still in my 1-2 Trades Per day plan?
Am I only risking 2%?

Tick these boxes with an X if the answer is YES, if it is a NO, then leave it blank.

If any of these boxes are blank, it is a no-trade. Re-assess and see if it is a trade worth taking.
Take it slow, tomorrow is another day.
You got this, MadCharts believes in you.

Did I close my trade in a positive risk to reward?

Did I leave runners running and not close impulsively?
Did I stay calm during the trade and not risk more than my 2% out of hope
and emotions?

Today’s Date
____________________

Today I followed my trading plan, today I became 1% better than I was

yesterday. Today I did not act impulsively and emotionally towards my
trading. I treated my trading as a business and created a better future for my
family. Even if I did take a loss, that is inevitable, but I stuck to my risk
management and to my plan. I am better than the 95% of losing traders out
there.
