“RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF


BURGOS HEADED BY MUNICIPAL MAYOR ANGIE B. ARCENA REQUESTING TO
GRANT/DONATE A PARCEL OF LAND AND BUILDING OF MRF LOCATED AT T. CONCHA
STREET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY HALL OF BARANGAY POBLACION 2,
BURGOS, SURIGAO DEL NORTE”

WHEREAS, Republic Act 7160 requires all Local Government Unit to have Barangay
Hall as the venue for all local government transactions, sessions and other activities related
for the development of the barangay;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Hall of Barangay Poblacion 2 had been vanished and
devastated by Super Typhoon Odette destroying all office equipment and documents
considering that it was located in the nearby coastal area;

WHEREAS, the existing barangay lot had already been declared as non-buildable
areas in the locality;

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of barangay Poblacion 2 would like to


construct new Barangay Hall that is located in safe ground to continue a smooth and
convenient operation of the barangay;

WHEREAS, the barangay council would like to request a portion of lot and building of
MRF owned by the Municipal Government located at T. Concha St. for the construction of
the new Barangay Hall;

WHEREAS, the realization of this request will promote good governance for the new
administration and development for Barangay Poblacion 2;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all the council present duly seconded by all the
members;

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE LOCAL


GOVERNMENT UNIT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BURGOS HEADED BY MUNICIPAL MAYOR
ANGIE B. ARCENA REQUESTING TO GRANT/DONATE A PARCEL OF LAND AND BUILDING OF
MRF LOCATED AT T. CONCHA STREET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY HALL OF
BARANGAY POBLACION 2, BURGOS, SURIGAO DEL NORTE;
