RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT


PROGRAM (ABYIP) FOR THE FY 2022 OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN IN AN
AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN PESOS & 0/100 (₱374,367.00) AND SUBMITTING THE SAME TO
THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF PANIANGAN,
MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL FOR THEIR REVIEW AND APPROVAL AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, Section 20 (a) of the Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the SK Reform Act
of 2015 provides: ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK.
The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the SK Funds in lump-sum, which shall be disbursed
solely for youth development and empowerment purposes;

WHEREAS, pursuant to the above law, the Sangguniang Barangay of Paniangan has set aside
10% from its general fund in the amount of ₱374,367.00 for SK proposed budget;

WHERES, Section 20 (b) of the same law also provides that the SK shall have financial
independence in its operations, disbursements, and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures;

WHEREAS, under its mandate, SK shall prepare the Annual Barangay Youth Investment
Program (ABYIP) prior to the preparation of the SK Annual Budget based on the duly approved
CBYDP;

WHEREAS, ABYIP is essential as it serves as the basis for the funding of different programs,
projects and activities of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Paniangan, Manticao, Misamis Oriental for the
FY 2022;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Jopper A. Alipat which was duly seconded by Hon.
Charldan A. Catubig, it was:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the Annual Barangay Youth


Investment Program (ABYIP) for the FY 2022 of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paniangan,
Manticao, Misamis Oriental;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the concerned
agencies/offices of LGU-Manticao for their review and reference.
