NARRATIVE REPORT ON SMEA

FIRST QUARTER
S.Y. 2022-2023

RA 9155 clearly defines shared governance as the management model in the delivery of quality
basic education. It specifies the functional areas to be shared by the various level management as well as
their differentiated roles. The evolving roles of the schools are consistent with the national education
policies, plans and standards. Through this, the conduct of SMEA or the School Monitoring Evaluation and
Adjustment is mandated at all levels. This is to provide objective observation that can inform decision-
making for continuous improving the organizational performance for efficient and effective fulfillment of the
division mandate and the delivery of education services to achieve the desired output and sustainability of
education outcomes.

Spearheaded by our very own dynamic principal, Mrs. Nielsen G. Villegas, the Anajao Elementary
School conducted the First Quarter SMEA conference last December 7, 2022 at exactly 10:00 am in the
morning. The program started with an opening prayer and followed by the singing of the national anthem
through multimedia. After which, Mrs. Mutya Marjorie G. Remoroza, a kinder adviser was called to have an
opening remark. It was then followed by Mrs. Claudia L. Robledo for the acknowledgement of the
participants.

The school guidance coordinator, Mrs. Rosa Lucila A. dela Cruz, formally presented the main
agenda of the conference which was about SMEA. She then presented the issues and concerns of the
school, the corrective and preventive measures of the issues and the time frame. After which, Mrs. Nielsen
G. Villegas the school principal presided for further discussion of the said issues and concerns. She also
presented the status of the school’s enrollment and the teachers workload. The School’s MOOE was also
discussed, the project accomplished were also clarified as well as the upcoming projects that would soon
be realized. She also explained everything about the ways especially now that our education is going back
to normal. After her presentation, Mrs. Jovelyn Templa our barangay captain gave her response on the
issues and concerns.

Enjoined by the supportive PTA officials, stakeholders, teachers and parents, the conference was a
success and a productive one.
