Opening

Lesson Proper
1. Ask lead-in question/s before starting the lesson.
2. Introduce the picture per slide to the student.
3. Ask a SIMPLE question related to the picture. Keep your question to
“present and/or progressive tense” as much as possible like “What is she
doing? What is the girl watching? What can you say about the picture?
etc.”
4. Guide the student on his answer when necessary.
5. Then state the situation twice in each picture and prompt the answer.
6. The student will say the answer three times.
7. The teacher will guide the student in the first two answers.
8. The student will say the answer by himself on the third answer without
the teacher’s guidance.
Example: Picture 1
Teacher: You receive a call from your friend and ask “Are you free today?” What would
you say? (Say it twice)
Teacher: Sorry... I’m busy... today.
Student: Sorry, I’m busy today.
Teacher: Sorry, I’m busy today.
Student: Sorry, I’m busy today.
Student: Sorry, I’m busy today.
Make sure that the student has mastered the answer and the pronunciation of
each word. Proceed to the next pictures. Do the same steps mentioned above.
Wrap Up/Closing
1. If you still have time then do a wrap up.
2. Go back to the first picture or randomly show any picture.
3. State the situation once and ask the student to answer by himself.
4. Guide the student whenever necessary.
5. Once time is up, politely say goodbye to your student.
PART: TEST
1. State the situation only once in each picture.
2. DO NOT prompt the answer since this is a test.
3. No revision or review needed.
4. Consider the student's answer as long as the response is appropriate to
the given situation.
5. Utilize the chat box for corrections later.
6. Test should be done within 25 minutes.
7. If the test is not done within 25 minutes, indicate properly in the “notes
for next teacher” in your assessment.
