CHAPTER 1
THE PROBLEM AND IT'S SCOPE
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
According to the centers for disease control and prevention (CDC 2015) approximately 1 in every 33
babies is born with a birth defect, and about 1 in 6 children is born with development, disability, birth
defects are structural changes present at birth that can affect almost any part of parts of the body ( e,g
heart, Brian, foot) these defects any affect how the body looks, works, or both. Birth affect can vary
from mild to severe the well-being of each child affected with a birth defect depend ls mostly on which
organ or body part is involved and to what extent it is affected ( By Noelle A. Carda. Lauder June 2017).
Parenting and raising children with special needs is stressful that normal parenting. Parenting refers

child with special needs brings changes in the life of the parent for which they might not be prepared

support and services throughout thier life ( By Sushmita Borah November 27, 2021).
The aim of this article is to determine whether theme are differences in the coping strategies of parent
children's with disabilities ( autism spectrum disorder of other disabilities) and children without
disabilities in references to the most stressful situation. They have experience with thier child in the last
year ( By Francisco J. Andre's, Garcia and Miguel A. Maldonado July 14 2022).
The child birth is generally associated with feedings of joy, but parents who have children with special
needs ( SNS) face mally challenge in bringing up their children. They face stress in managing the
behaviour and needs of their children and the overall family life changes while dealing with different
needs of children with SNS. Long term burden means stress often spreads across every aspect of life and

understand the belief of parents about thier child disabilities as thier belief system guides them to take
necessary action about the management of such children ( By Amna Arif, Asia Nusrat and Farfana Ashraf
May 2021).
