Microsoft windows has had many

Microsoft is the most popular
operating system in the world.
Microsoft was founded by its founder,
Bill gates. The very early operating
system by Microsoft was MS DOS.
Windows 1 the
oldest operating
system
The original windows

November 1985 and
was Microsoft first

Windows 95
Previously code-named
Chicago, this version was
released on August 24,
1995. This was the first
Operating system to
have a start button and a
start menu. Windows 95
also made the
foundation for emails.
Windows 98
On June 25, 1998,
Windows 98 was
launched. It was the
upgrade from windows
95, described as an
operating system that
works better and plays
better.
Windows 2000
Windows 2000 is an
operating system by
Microsoft for use on both
client and server
computers in a network.
It was also designed to
replace Windows 95 and
Windows 98.
Windows XP
On October 25, 2001,
Microsoft released Windows
XP with a rejuvenated look.
Windows XP remained
popular even after the
release of newer versions due
to its features for business.
Windows Vista
This Operating system
was released by Microsoft
on 22 October 2009 and
later was made available
in 35 different languages.
This version was centered
around security norms.
Windows 7
Codenamed blackcomb ,
Windows 7 was an
upgrade to windows
Vista.
It was intended to fix all
the problems by Vista.
This version introduced
Windows touch, which
lets us to open the files
and folders.
WINDOWS 8
Windows 8 introduced
major changes in terms
of user interface to
improve its user
experience on tablets. A
totally new interface
with apps and tiles, that
works better from the
windows 7.
WINDOWS 10
THE LATEST VERSION
OF WINDOWS
Windows 10 received mosly
positive reviews upon its
release in July 2015. A number
of new features like Cortana,
Microsoft Edge, Start menu,
Virtual desktops, Action
center, made their existence in
this latest edition.
